Exposing Congressional Drug Abuse Act
Requiring Members of the House of Representatives and the Senate to participate in random drug testing.
Summary
This concurrent resolution requires all Members of the House of Representatives and the Senate to participate in a random drug testing program for illegal controlled substances. Each member would be subject to one random drug test per term, with results provided to the member and to their respective chamber's ethics committee for review. Members who refuse to participate would be publicly identified by the ethics committees and subject to appropriate action. Members must reimburse their chamber for the cost of their drug test. The House Administration and Senate Rules committees are directed to issue regulations to implement the program.
