HCONRES 1 Passed House Re-checks Congress.gov for new actions and updates the bill's status, and fills in any sponsors, committees, or related bills that are missing. It does not re-pull sponsors/cosponsors/committees/related — those rarely change — and it skips all work if nothing has changed upstream, so it's cheap to click.
Regarding consent to assemble outside the seat of government.
Summary
This concurrent resolution authorizes the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader, acting jointly and after consultation with the Minority Leaders of both chambers, to convene Congress at a location outside the District of Columbia when they determine public interest warrants it. The authorization is granted pursuant to Article I, Section 5, Clause 4 of the Constitution and applies during the 119th Congress.
